Eight report types — summary, action items, Jira stories, decisions, minutes, email, release notes — all on-device.
Nine languages
Kiln transcribes English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Korean — and the report comes back in the language of the meeting, not translated into English. Kiln's own interface is available in those nine too, and you can set it independently of your device.
Private by construction
No cloud, no account, no subscription, no analytics. Kiln never sends your recordings, transcripts, or reports anywhere — they stay in the app's private sandbox on your device. The only things that move them are yours: sharing or exporting something yourself, and your device's own backup.
Requires macOS 26 or iOS 26. Transcription uses Apple's on-device speech models, which need recent hardware; report generation additionally needs Apple Intelligence turned on. Kiln tells you plainly when a device can't run either — see Support.
