Support
We're here to help.
Kiln is a private, on-device AI meeting assistant for Mac and iPhone/iPad. Record or import a meeting and turn it into transcripts, summaries, action items, Jira stories, and more — without any of it leaving your device.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Kiln has no login and no subscription.
Why can't I generate reports on my device?
Report generation needs Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 or 17, or an M1 or later Mac/iPad). Recording and transcription still work on older supported devices.
Where are my recordings stored?
Only on your device, in the app's private sandbox. Deleting a meeting deletes its audio.
What languages are supported?
English in this release.
How do I export a report?
Open any report and use Share to export as Markdown or a paginated PDF, copy it, or save the original audio recording.
Is the AI always accurate?
No AI is perfect. Transcripts, speaker names, and reports are AI-generated and may contain mistakes — please review important details before sharing or making decisions.
How do I report a problem or send feedback?
In the app, go to Settings → Report an Issue. It opens a pre-filled email you review before sending, and you can optionally attach a diagnostic log that contains only technical details (app version, device, and what the app did) — never your audio, transcripts, or report content. Or email support.kiln@gmail.com directly.
